Insurance
Our current goods in transit insurance is an all risks policy currently covering Caravans and Park Homes to the value of 50.000, in the case of twin units the insurance cover would be 100.000 due to being transported on two vehicles.
In the eventuality of any unit having a value in excess of this amount we take out temporary cover for the duration of the journey, ensuring the item concerned has adequate insurance cover whilst our responsibility.
In addition to the transport of New Units from the manufactures, we also move pre owned caravans purchased from private sellers or used caravan dealers, recently we have noticed an increase in the number of enquiries by private buyers purchasing from the various internet auction sites, if you are purchasing or are thinking of buying over the internet from a private seller, we recommend you get the cost of transport first, we welcome any enquiry regarding the charge of transporting your intended purchase.
If you are looking to sell or dispose of your caravan please contact us with the details of the unit, as we often are looking to purchase used caravans for export.
In the event of a Holiday Park, private buyer or seller not having suitable vehicle access we are able to provide a transporter along with a Land Rover to enable us to tow the caravan into or out of the site. However this does increase the cost of the move due to various factors.
